We often wonder what to do with our strength, wounds, longings, and gifts. Some men choose to suppress their frustration and sadness, while others try to compensate for it through achievement and accomplishment.
However, some take the time to process God’s vision for their lives and to deal with their longings and pain. That’s precisely why we have created the Making of a Man Conference. It’s a place where men can come together to do just that – process our emotions, aspirations, and challenges.
Our vision is to mold men’s hearts to reject passivity without becoming a caricature of our culture.

Founder | Francois Haasbroek is the Executive Director of Courageous Manhood. Francois is married to Karen, his wife of 15 years, and they have two daughters and a son. He’s a speaker facilitator and is passionate about God’s Word.
Riaan Bezuidenhout
ADVISOR | A family man and ardent supporter of Courageous Manhood. When not lending wisdom and direction to his Church and Courageous Manhood, Riaan is devoted to loving and serving his family—his wife and two daughters.
